HRL Celebrates Engineers Achieving Chartered Status

HRL Technology Group recently hosted an Engineering Workforce Credentialing (EWC) Chartered Acknowledgement Ceremony in partnership with Engineers Australia to celebrate seven engineers who have achieved Chartered status. The event brought together colleagues from across the business to recognise their dedication, professionalism and commitment to engineering excellence Chartered status is a globally recognised credential that demonstrates an engineer's competence, commitment to professional development and adherence to the highest standards of engineering practice. Achieving Chartered status requires a rigorous assessment of technical capability, professional judgement, leadership, ethics and ongoing commitment to continuing professional development.

At this year's ceremony, we were proud to recognise the following engineers for achieving Chartered status:

  • Matt Barlow
  • Yi (Lewis) Lu
  • Velen Pillay
  • Darren Tan
  • Aiman Yusri
  • Sky Loo

The ceremony featured addresses from HRL CEO Paul McPhee and Engineers Australia General Manager Noel Dos Santos, highlighting the value of professional recognition and the important role Chartered engineers play in advancing the engineering profession. This achievement reflects HRL's ongoing commitment to investing in the growth and development of our people. Through our partnership with Engineers Australia and the EWC program, HRL provides structured support for engineers to pursue professional accreditation, expand their capabilities and gain internationally recognised credentials.
